Cabin Caff is a small, café-style spot tucked just off Llay Road in Cefn-y-bedd, offering a relaxed and informal atmosphere that suits a quiet breakfast or a casual coffee break. Its location near green spaces and residential areas makes it a convenient stop for locals starting their day or families looking for a straightforward meal in a friendly setting.

The café’s interior feels bright and inviting without feeling overly polished, with thoughtful touches like outdoor benches and potted flowers that encourage lingering, especially on a fair morning. People often come here for a full English breakfast, with options ranging from the traditional bacon, egg, and sausage lineup to heartier plates that include mushrooms, plum tomatoes, black pudding, and even specialty tomato sausages sourced from local farms. The portion sizes are generous and adaptable, which proves handy for those who want to customize their breakfast or for families with children.

Cabin Caff is well-regarded for its coffee and baked goods, with coffee cake standing out as a popular accompaniment to a mid-morning cuppa. The vibe is casual enough for dog owners to feel comfortable bringing their pets along, a feature that adds to its laid-back appeal and community feel. Staff here make a point of being welcoming and attentive, which local regulars appreciate, making it more than just a grab-and-go stop but rather a place where conversation and easy mornings happen naturally.

Visitors tend to pop in before the workday or on weekends for a slower breakfast experience. The café seems especially suited to people who value a no-fuss, local spot that blends good quality food with personal, friendly service. It’s a place where families, dog walkers, and early risers from the village converge, often returning for its dependable menu and warm atmosphere.

Me and my partner absolutely love here for breakfast. It's a proper hidden find that is cosy and the staff are inviting welcoming and so friendly. The food is all locally sourced . The portion sizes are good and will adapt what you want to suit. Sadly is closed until the +10th June so we had to go else where which was no where near a notch on this gem

Stumbled upon this place today and thought it was very sweet little cafe. The staff were lovely with the children and the omlettes were smashing. Will be back again soon.

I have been to Cabin Caff a couple of times and recommended it to my friends. The food is delicious with a varied menu. I had a coffee and a slice of delicious homemade cake. The staff are always helpful, polite and efficient. They will go out of their way to offer you their help. The atmosphere is good because it usually has lots of people enjoying it. The cafe is dog friendly and they give dogs a drink. Great, friendly place.

What a little gem, if you're not local you may miss it. It's lovely to sit outside, hear the peacock enjoy the scenery, oh and the homemade cakes are equally as amazing. If you're in the area and you want somewhere to enjoy lunch or mid morning coffee look this place up.
